5HTP Mood Enhancer Review
I have a TON going on in my life right now and struggle to keep a smile on my face at all times. I have days where I just don't even want to get out of bed much less smile. I wont get into the boring details of my crazy life but I will tell you about a pretty great product that I have been taking.
It is a mood enhancer supplement that I take every morning with breakfast. 5HTP, or as the boys call them, my "happy pills" LOL! 5-HTP is a substance extracted from the Griffonia Simplicfolia plant, 5HTP is a NATURAL substance that increases the production of Seratonin. We ALL know what Seratonin is right? Well, being so unbalanced as far as my "Mood" goes, I figured it would be in EVERYBODY'S best interest if I gave this stuff a shot. I began taking it a little over 3 weeks ago and I don't really think I noticed much of a difference until the begining of the second week...well, I didn't anyway, according to my boys I was a little less "cranky" when I woke up each morning. My nephew said that the day he brought home a pretty rough progress report he thought I was going to go nuts like I usually do. I get upset by scolding, then I am ANGRY, then I start crying about it...in a matter of 5 minutes! I didn't realize the day that he did bring it home but I don't remember being that way so I am pretty convinced it is because of the 5HTP. I don't notice things that the people around me do, just how I feel. I feel like I have CONTROL over my emotions and mood. I haven't had one of those "Life is too hard so I wanna stay in bed" episodes while taking the 5HTP and I really do feel like I have more energy. I will continue taking it because I have been on those OTHER Dr prescribed medications before and I hated them AND the way it made me feel. 5HTP really HAS done me AND my family a world of good! The best part is that it is all Natural so I am not putting harmful junk into my body.
