Simply Scott Squad and our Earth

I have been trying to do more things to protect, preserve, and clean up our beautiful environment and it's easier than you may think. I switched most of my faucets and toilets around the house to more water saving fixtures just to save water. I collect rain water to use in watering my garden and our compost pile is pretty awesome. I recycle EVERYTHING by either properly recycling or reusing things.
Toilet paper and paper products in general are something that I have tried to do better with but with 3 guys in the house it really becomes difficult. I don't use paper towels as much instead using my Sunday paper for windows and rewashed old towels for other things. Toilet paper can be tricky though because nobody wants cheap toilet paper that your fingers slip through while using so aside from recycling my toilet paper tubes there hasn't been much to do as far as the paper itself.
I was selected to try some of Scott Products Natural Tube free toilet paper through Crowdtap. I had heard of it prior but honestly thought it just wouldn't work especially in my house. I thought I would have some pretty skimpy toilet paper and HOW was it going to stay on my toilet paper dispenser without being a mess without a tube?
A mind blowing fact for you, each YEAR we throw away 17 BILLION toilet paper tubes. 17 BILLION a YEAR! That is enough tubes to fill the Empire State Building TWICE! That's a lot of WASTE folks! I decided to take a pledge to toss my tubes for good by only using Scott Tube free. The quality of the toilet paper itself is amazing. I thought it would be thin and rough but was pleasantly surprised by how soft and strong it is. I have no more excuses now in the toilet paper recycling. I just don't purchase a roll that has tubes. I don't want to leave a huge mess in the environment for my grandchildren and I feel good knowing that every single thing I do to protect the environment will make it a happy, healthy, clean, and BEAUTIFUL earth for those who are here long after I'm gone.
How about you? What are you doing to protect our precious earth? Have you tried Scott Natural Tube free?

Thanks again to Crowdtap for providing me with a free sample to try and form my own opinion on the Tube FREE toilet paper by Scott!
