Folgers Flavor Enhancers
Coffee, oh sweet coffee! Coffee is the only way that I and probably most human beings, wake up to every morning. My entire family knows not to even look at me until I have had my morning coffee. It was the same way while I was growing up. I remember when I was a kid and my mother would have one of her Tupperware Parties and serve all kinds of yummy treats along with loads of coffee. My brothers and I would try our hardest to sneak out of bed, tip toe down the stairs, and try to sneak a goody and some coffee. We got caught every single time with our mom telling us that coffee wasn't for kids because it would stunt our growth and we'd be short our entire lives. We just thought they all looked so cool sipping on that coffee and couldn't wait till we were old enough to drink it because we wanted to look cool and have tons of energy. I wish sometimes that I were still a kid because things were so much easier then. After I got married and had my own kids my mother who told us that coffee was bad for kids, used to let my daughter sip on grammies coffee! When my mom got really sick and needed me to take care of her i spent a lot of time just sitting with her talking about everything under the sun over coffee. My mother was the biggest coffee drinker that I have ever seen, even to this day i haven't found anyone who has topped my mother. She had a cup of coffee in her hands at all times. Not just ANY cup of coffee either.. Nothing but Folgers and yes we tried many times to trick her with a different brand but she knew every single time while it was brewing that it was NOT her Folgers! Her coffee had to be piping hot. I have no idea how she was able to drink it as hot as she did. Her coffee needed one level spoon of sugar and a tiny splash of milk. If we made her a cup and accidentally put too much milk in it she'd have us warm it in the microwave for ONE MINUTE. The woman drank it that hot even in the Florida summers while sitting out by the pool! She said that it kept her cool. I never understood it but I would give anything to be able to sit with her just one more time while sipping on a piping hot cup of coffee.
I have always been a Folgers brand coffee drinker. As I've said, my parents drank it when I was a kid and when I had my first daughter Folgers was the only coffee I'd buy. I have tried other brands and they're just not the same as the good fresh roasted flavor that I get with Folgers. Don't get me wrong, i love coffee but Folgers is my personal favorite and yours may be different. I have tried every roast that Folgers has and I am a HUGE fan of their instant cappuccino. The cappuccino is my "go to" coffee when I am looking for something a little different. I have switched off and on between the two of them for many years. I don't drink too much regular coffee these days because I really like the taste of the cappuccino and I couldn't find anything to add to my coffee to get the flavor that I get with my cappuccino.
Thanks to a sampling party through Crowdtap, I was given the opportunity to try a new product from my favorite brand of coffee, Folgers Flavor Enhancers. Folgers Flavor Enhancers come in four flavors, mocha, vanilla, hazelnut, and caramel. They come in little containers that are easy to put in your purse to have when you're out and about. Folgers Flavor Enhancers add a little or a lot of flavor to a boring cup of coffee. I was given all of the flavors to try and out of all of them mocha is my personal favorite. I don't like my coffee sweet sweet and at first I was concerned that the flavor enhancers would make my coffee super sweet. I experienced with them all and was able to get my coffee jazzed up to my taste. I only use a few drops of the flavor enhancers and was pleasantly surprised that it didn't sweeten my coffee too much. They have made my normal boring coffee a lot better and the best part is that i am able to get that flavor from my very own kitchen!
